Director C.L. Hor's Kinta 1881 is Malaysia's first-ever martial arts flick. The movie is set in the Kinta Valley in the 1880s, when tin ore was discovered in the area and Chinese immigrants flooded the valley in the hope of making their fortune. The film boast real fight scenes with real life martial artistes amongst the cast including Robin Ho, Michael Chin, Kuan Fei Jun, Shawn Lee and David Bao. Hong Kong actor/stuntman Chin Kar Lok is the movie's action choreographer.

am happy to see the final production n looking forward for the screening of Kinta 1881 in the cinema..this movie meant alot to me because this is the first movie that the one i cared n loved most got involved in.
He seriously give in his 101% effort and well prepared to make sure everything is good enough.I am happy that he managed to come through it and got good comments from his boss because it makes it all worth working hard for.
Can u imagine a life of waking up as early as 5+ in the morning and shooting goes on until late night or break of dawn?And the routine carry on...sounds tiring huh..i also feel bad that i couldnt be there for him to take care of him..but then again, this is life.You have to give in, in order to be succesful.Hence no complaint.
